We are in our 70s and feel better than we did 30 years ago.

I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record to you.

You know what to do to live a, live a long fit, healthy, happy life.

Well, if that's getting to be a little old, maybe you should start listening... because you do know what to do, but you know what? It's what you believe that makes the difference.

Whatever you believe, your brain is gonna go to work and it's gonna figure out how to make it happen. So if you believe you can't give up sugar, if you believe you can't do a daily workout, if you believe you can't cut back on the amount of food you eat, if you believe you can't move well, that you're just getting old. If you believe your brain's not gonna work any longer, guess what?

Your brain goes to work on that it tries to prove you correct.

But if you believe you can live a long fit, healthy, happy life, if you truly believe that, then it will happen.

I guarantee you what you have to do is you gotta find a way to get that belief in your brain and to dismiss the, uh, the thoughts that I'm not good enough. I'm not smart enough. I'm not fast enough. I can't give up this food. I can't give up that food. I'm emotionally attached to food and it's gonna rule my life.

No, no, no, no, no, it's not. What you have to do is realize every thought that comes into your head is not your own thought, and it's not good for you.

So once you realize that, let's see, it comes into your head. It's not your own thought and it may not be good for you. Once you realize those two things, you can just dismiss them and move on and go, boy, that was an interesting thought. Wonder where that came from? Well, it sure didn't come from me cuz I believe I am fit, healthy and happy.

If you have that belief, your brain's gonna go to work and figure out how to make you fit, healthy and happy. I truly believe that.

Not woowoo... nothing more than just the way our brains work.

So that's today's message. May you move well, stay healthy, be happy. Live every single day with passion.
