Do you love hot fudge sundaes? Who doesn't love hot fudge sundaes? 

Or maybe for what we're talking about here. If hot fudge sundae isn't your thing, think of something that is, what is your absolute go-to treat? That would just make you knock down walls. Maybe it's an apple fritter. Maybe it's a pizza. Maybe it's some other sweet treat. Maybe it's birthday cake. Who doesn't a love birthday cake? 

The reason I'm using hot fudge sundae is because I just listened to a podcast by Janine Roth and in it she had this quote that I really liked. 

She said, you know what? You don't really want to eat a hot fudge sundae, you want your life to be like a hot fudge sundae. 

I thought that was really a provoking thought. You know, we all often reach for food for emotional reasons, and I think that really encapsulates what the issue is here. 

We don't necessarily want to eat that hot fudge sundae and have those resulting crashes and sugar highs and sugar lows.

I mean, it'll feel good in the moment, but what we want is our life to feel good like that all the time. 

So instead of eating the hot fudge sundae, maybe we can just tell ourselves, you know what, that little voice, that wants hot fudge sundae, that's not really me. That's a part of me that's longing for something more.

So how do we get that?

I think we have to learn to just push that hot fudge sundae away and find something to take its place. Something to ease that emotional, something to put yourself in a state where all the time you feel great you, you have that hot fudge sundae feeling. 

So maybe if you're tapping, maybe we do the emotional freedom technique and we tap looking to be... make our life like a hot fudge sundae.

You know, I love to eat hot fudge sundaes. 

But I think there's another ... I know what I really want is to have a life that is like a hot fudge sundae. 

So work on that. Find different ways you can do a meditation on that... even just being aware of... you're eating that hot fudge sundae, not because you really want that hot fudge sundae.

Cuz who wants, who wants the chubbiness? Who wants the sugar high? Who wants the sugar crash?

No. What you want is a life that is like a hot fudge sundae.
