I know, I know I've been telling you to relax and rest all week long, and today is also about relaxation, but it's about not using relaxation as an excuse to not do what you need to do.
So don't sit back and go, Dave told us to rest, relax and restore, because I mean that, but that's not all day long. Well, occasionally you might wanna do it all day long, but it's not meant to be all day long.
Don't use that as an excuse to not do what you need to do, don't use that excuse. There are certain things in your life such as going to class that should be non-negotiable. There should not be excuses. There should not be reasons. You should just get up in the morning and say, you know what? I'm going to do class today because I know what it does for me.
I'm going to read today, I'm going to write today. I'm going to work today. Whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish, don't use rest and relaxation as an excuse.
I know, what a bummer. You thought I was gonna give you another... another way to rest and relax today, but you know, sometimes it doesn't work out the way you planned.
So get your rest and relaxation, but do not use that as an excuse.
It's so easy to slide into these things of, well, I don't really feel like working today, so what I'm going to do, I'm going to rest and relax because that's what I'm supposed to do.
Don't use an excuse. Don't make excuses.
And if you don't want to do something, figure out something else you want to do in its place. But don't use rest and relaxation. Don't use any type of excuse to not do what you need to do. To not eat correctly.
