Greater!
I am a real junkie for sports movies and on Amazon prime yesterday, I found one called Greater... and it was a true story. Boy, talk about inspiration. This story was about a young man who wanted to play football for the Arkansas Razorbacks, poor family couldn't afford it. And he's sitting on the bench of his junior high football team being told he will never play because he's too fat and he's too slow. He is just a, a fatty fatty.
So this story is of resilience of somebody who finds something they want and they will do whatever it takes... and he's just so matter of fact about it, I mean, he's bullied, he's intimidated. He's told he'll never make it, but in the end he comes through... I guess that's why I love these inspirational sports movies, um, winning against all odds.
So maybe this is a movie recommendation. If, if you like this type of thing, I mean, it's, it's inspiring. Even if you're not a sports person to see what this young man went through to create is the life of his dreams.
So we all can do that. We all can take that deep breath. And we all can say, you know what? I really want that... he had a goal, he had a vision and he went after it. He went after it with everything he had in spite of all odds.
It's out there. It's possible. You can do it too.
Move well, stay healthy, be happy. How about some passion... find your purpose just like Brandon did.
