When was the last time you laughed really hard?

Maybe it was a TV show or maybe it was with friends or family, maybe just laughing at yourself at a funny thought.

In today's daily podcast I want to talk about the power of laughter because we often think of it as something trivial it's light, It's fun, But it's also something that is incredibly powerful.

Laughter has been studied extensively by scientists and it's been proven to do things like soothe the stress response, improve immune function, relieve pain and boost mood.

How awesome is that?

Every time we laugh, we are helping our immune system. We're literally helping our immune system to be stronger. We're helping to relieve stress and improve our overall wellbeing.

When we don't laugh enough it can compound any other stress we're already experiencing. Many of us can get stuck in being really serious about life ignoring opportunities to laugh. Or not seeking out moments to laugh.

Here you are, you're living your life. You care so much about how you show up for yourself and others and that is beautiful. But it also can feel so serious.

It's really wonderful and healthy to let yourself laugh about it all.

I want you to know that you have full permission to laugh as much as you want, anytime you want.

You do yourself, your health and those around you, a favor when you embrace laughter as often as possible.

Nothing is worth more than the laughter.

It is strength to laugh and to abandon oneself to be light.

So today I really invite you to seek out Laughter.

To not take life so seriously to surround yourself with people that make you laugh and to bring laughter into the lives of others.
