Are you a strong person? 

Do you actually find it easy to make the hard choices? 

I've got a list of 20 items I'm going to throw out there. These items are the easy choices versus the hard choices.

Are you a strong person? 

Do you actually find it easy to make the hard choices? 

I've got a list of 20 items I'm going to throw out there. These items are the easy choices versus the hard choices. 

Be honest with yourself and think about which ones maybe you could do better. 

So here we go. 

Number one, the easy choice is watching TV... the hard choice is reading.

Number two, snoozing, or getting up.

Number three, drinking alcohol versus water.

Number four, frustration versus patience. 

Number five, overreacting versus taking ownership. 

Number six, staying up late or early to bed. 

Number seven, eating for taste, or the hard choice is eating for health. That's a big one.

Number eight. Do you find yourself judging? That's the easy choice or being genuinely curious and listening? That's the hard choice. 

Here's a good one saying yes versus saying no, isn't saying yes much easier? What do you do? 

Number 10 avoidance, as opposed to tough conversations. 

Number 11, so easy to be closed minded and the hard choice is to be open-minded and actually listen. 

Number 12, are you defensive or vulnerable?

Number 13 default thoughts, the monkey mind versus awareness first one's easy, second one's hard. 

Number 14, talking versus listening. We covered this on a podcast just a few days ago. 

Number 15, taking versus giving. 

Number 16. Setting or moving? Setting is easy choice. Moving's a difficult one .

16 seeking pleasure or fulfillment. That was actually 17. 

Do you fantasize all day long or do you plan?

Now the next one is a follow-up to that one... 

Number 19. Planning versus doing. 

And then the final number 20, do you just do or do you actually pay attention and do what's most impactful?

Now go over that list. It's printed below the podcast and think about... exactly where you fall.

Are there some choices you're taking the easy way out that maybe you didn't even realize you were taking the easy way out? 

If so let's turn that around and start making the harder choices, the choices that are for our health, as opposed to the choices that are for our dis-health for our discomfort.

Hopefully you start making more of the hard choices, but don't think of them as hard choices... think of them as amazing choices for your fitness and health.
