Years to perfect a pose or a position or a movement.

You hear this often, especially on the martial arts field. I have to be honest, that's something I don't totally understand.

My Qi gong, Tai Chi instructor, Mike Taylor, that I follow... believes in finding ease in the body and with the ease and that body.

He's won world championships in Qi Gong, Tai-Chi competitions by just paying attention to the ease in his body.

That's my philosophy.

Kudos... bows to those of you who will spend years perfecting a movement, perfecting a pose.

Personally, I find it better to perfect the movement in my body and let the pose follow, let the pose fall where it does.

I don't believe that learning how to move a certain way and a certain position is as important as just learning how to move.

So for today, my message is nothing more than do what works for you.

I remember Mr. Miyagi and wax on, wax off and you had to practice for months to get it right before you were allowed to go to the next step.

Well, I believe in moving your body, finding that ease of motion... and that ease of motion allowing your body to move well and to help you move through space rather than trying to force in to position .

Simple, I believe in simple, easy and effective and to me that ease of motion... what my instructor has taught me makes the most sense.

Find what works for you. Find what keeps you invigorated and fired up and wanting to move every single day.

When you do it turns into fun instead of a drudgery ...drudgery.

With that being said, move well, stay healthy, be happy. Live every single day with passion, find purpose, have an amazing day. Talk to you tomorrow.
