The journey I take through life is uniquely mine.

Walking through life is like a fairytale for me. I believe that with each step comes the possibility for greatness and wonder. I love my life and my journey that I know is mine and mine alone.

There is little room in my consciousness for how others live. I respect anyone who lives according to their own standards and ideals.

In a time when it is popular to do things for the benefit of showing off, I am happy to do things just for me. It is of zero interest to me how others respond to what I do with my life. I wish them well as we traverse our journeys in parallel worlds.

I make personal family choices that make my family and myself happy. My loved ones are more important than someone else’s opinion of my decision.

Spending as much time as I do sightseeing is therapeutic. It gives me a sense of growth and enlightenment. Having the opportunity makes me happy.

Balancing meditation with prayer keeps me sane. I choose to be thankful for my limited resources instead of complaining about them.

Today, as I take my next step into a life crafted for me, I do so with confidence. I love myself for doing things that make me happy instead of things that others expect. It is exciting to know that the story of my life is being perfectly written just for me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

    1. How do I respond to advice from a friend about changing my behavior?
    2. How do I choose between doing what is right for me and what makes someone else happy?
    3. How do I know when the path that I take is unsuitable for me?
