Do you eat constantly?

One of the toughest things I've had to do on my health journey is learn how to not eat all day long.

Snacks are so, so insidious.

The way the body's designed you need to take breaks between meals, little mini fasts, to allow your body to reset, to allow your insulin, to reset, to allow your food to digest.

If you constantly eat, if you're a huge snacker... and I have to raise my hand... I am not only an addictive eater, but I am a huge snacker. I want to eat constantly. I eat for emotional reasons... not because I'm hungry. I know there's many, many, many people like this. If you're not, God, congratulations... I'd like to have that monkey off my back.

The less I eat between meals, the more I limit myself to two to three meals a day... If I'm going to have a snack, I incorporate it in my meals say if I want chicharrones dipped in sour cream, well that'll be dessert for dinner. Something like that.

I suggest you try the same thing. Watch your blood sugar regulate. If you skip all of that between meal eating, watch that blood sugar normalize.

Now, if you're eating a bunch of crap, it may not totally normalize, but I guarantee it's going to be better than if you're snacking all day long, because if you snack all day long. Your body just does not keep up... and that blood sugar will spike and spiking blood sugar has so many negative. Negative effects.

So that's it. That's it. Stop snacking. Try to get past that. I know It sounds kind of Pollyanna to say that, oh, just quit snacking. I know, I know I get it. I get it. I'm with you on that.

So let's work together. Let's support each other and our effort to eat better and feel better.

I know when I don't snack, I feel so clean. I feel so lean and the next morning when I check my blood sugar, I'm like, wow, that's totally different.

Move well, stay healthy, be happy. Live with passion and become an anti snacker!
